The tickets booked for Sramik and Special Train will continue. The refund will issue all the passengers who had booked the tickets for travel till 30th June.

Indian Railways also said that we are collecting the address from those passengers who have booked ticked after 13th May. This information will help to easily track the passenger in the future.

Shramik Special Trains are taking migrant labourers from different states to their home states while the special trains are running 15 routes to ferry standers.

Passengers Booked 2,34,411 Tickets in Special Trains

There are 2,34,411 tickets booked in special train by passengers. Railways earned 45.30 Crores rupees through Passenger Reservation System (PRC).

It was expected that all the Express and Mail Express train will run from 15th May, but now Railways has canceled all the train tickets booked for travel on or before 30th June.

It was also expected that the Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express will run similar to Shramik Train, However, there is no statement from Railways on this.

Railways have said that passengers who will not be allowed to travel in trains due to symptoms associated with the coronavirus, will be given a full refund for their tickets.

As per the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, all passengers will be compulsorily screened and only uninfected passengers will be allowed to enter the trains.
