Quick Way to Find Your UAN Number – Follow Step by Step Guide

UAN is a 12 digit unique number provided to each employee contributing to the Employees Provident Fund. This unique number is generated and assigned by EPFO to employees after submission of the online application to the EPFO portal. The online application is submitted by employers. The Ministry of Labour and Employment authenticates UAN under the directives of the Government of India.

If you recently changed your job and want to check your EPF balance, you can check your EPF balance through SMS, For this, you must have UAN Number. Step by Step Guide to Find Your UAN Number

• First, you need to visit the officail website of EPFO i.e. https://www.epfindia.gov.in/
• Click on “Service” button given beside Home on the menu bar.
• Here you will find an options for “For Employee”
• Click on “For Employee” link.
• After that, a new windows will be open on your home sreen.
• Click on “Member UAN/ Online Service (OCS/ OTCP)” link available left side of service section.
• Againa a new windows will be open on your home sreen.
• You will find a section for “Important Links” on the right side of this page.
• Here you will find an link for “Know Your UAN”
• Againa a new windows will be open on your home sreen.
• Enter your 10 digits of mobile number on this page
• Enter captcha code and click on “Request OTP”
• After that, a blank OTP box will open on your screen and also will receive an OTP on your Mobile number.
• Enter OTP and Captcha, then click on submit button.
• Againa a new windows will be open on your home sreen.
• Here, Enter your Name, Date of Birth. Then, Enter anyone number of Aadhaar No)/ PAN and Member ID.
• After entering the captcha code, click on Show My UAN.
• Your UAN Number will display on your device screen.
• Write down this UAN Number for Future reference.
